What services do you offer for children?
Asthenis will work with guardians to ensure their child receives required vaccinations for school and any other routine or yearly vaccines. Our process involves information gathering which sometimes may involve more than one visit to the clinic. A legal guardian is required for signature.Our staff will assist with enrolling your child into a medical insurance plan so that they have wider access to health care services including primary care. This process ensures your child gets assigned to a healthcare provider – which is needed for many health services including lab tests, vaccines, and physical exams.
Navigating through these programs can be overwhelming. But no worries, Asthenis will assist you each step of the way.
How long until a child is fully vaccinated for student enrollment?
It depends, but typically no more than 2 weeks.Each child is different, and several factors determine how soon we can administer vaccines including but not limited to – the child’s previous immunization history and record, primary care provider status, other vaccines recently received, supply/availability and peak seasonal demands.
With our valuable community partnerships and collaborations, the Asthenis public health hub offers an opportunity for children to become fully vaccinated and find appropriate primary care.
